My 'Siren' was invited to be at the Sculptor's Dominion in San Antonio for the Spring 2009 show. Bob Sinsky and I spent the first rainy day this Spring installing. I didn't mind a bit! I love the rain and what it brings...

OTHER RECOGNITION:
The sculpture 'Ebb & Flow' you see in the below series of photos was originally created for The Fiddler's Green music and instrument shop on 35th Street in Austin, Tx. It stands just over seven feet tall on the base and weighs just over 220 Lbs. The body of the Altmanesque mandolin is concrete with inlaid glass. The neck is Brazilian steel wood. The head is concrete with inlaid stainless steel brackets and connectors for the kinetic spinners and bell. The final touch is stainless steel cable that runs the length of the piece as the strings.
